Low Impact Denim is a JACK & JONES initiative that lowers the environmental impact of our washing and treatment processes. You can minimize your impact and prolong the life of your jeans by following our five simple care guidelines inside the jeans and online.
Hand scraping is a manual finishing process used to recreate natural wear and tear. It’s one of the most difficult treatments, and the quality of the result depends on the skills and attention to detail of the individual craftsman. That’s why we only work with the best.
3D shaping is a manual finishing process that makes these jeans look worn and like they’ve already moulded to your body. The treatment begins with the jeans being dipped in starch. Afterwards, they are fitted on a mannequin with slightly bent legs – just like you do thousands of times a day when you wear them. The fabric is then manually crinkled in all the right places by fading experts. Finally, the jeans are baked in an oven to make the crinkle effect last.
